In a bold move, Stardust Promotion, a leading Japanese entertainment management company, conducted drug tests on their talents on the 2nd, as announced today on Sanspo.com. The company representatives declared that the drug tests are a response to the recent drug scandals surrounding talents Noriko Sakai and Manabu Oshio, who are both facing drug charges under violation of the Japanese Narcotics Stimulants Control Laws.
